Copyright and Content Reports

Effective October 2, 2026

ComposIT respects the rights of creators and of the people who appear in video. This page explains how to report content on the Service and what we do when we receive a report.

How to Send a Report

Use the form below, or email legal@composit.app. Every report receives a request ID. If you email, start the subject line with the type of report: Copyright, Intimate image, Child safety, or Other, and include the review link or other location of the content and the information listed below for that type of report. Counter-notices and requests from law enforcement are sent by email.

What are you reporting?

Copyright (DMCA)

ComposIT responds to notices of copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. 512).

Designated Agent

Copyright Agent
ComposIT
3871 Moose Run Dr SW
Albany, OR 97321
Phone: 971-404-7959

Takedown Notices

Send a written notice to the Designated Agent that includes:

  • identification of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed
  • identification of the material you believe is infringing and where it is on the Service, such as the review link
  • your name, address, telephone number, and email address
  • a statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf
  • your physical or electronic signature

When we receive a valid notice, we remove or disable access to the material, aiming to act within 24 hours, and we notify the user who uploaded it. We share the notice with that user, including your name and email address, but not your phone number or postal address.

Counter-Notices

If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send the Designated Agent a counter-notice that includes:

  • identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before it was removed
  • a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
  • your name, address, and telephone number
  • a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district where your address is located, or the District of Oregon if your address is outside the United States, and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or that person's agent
  • your physical or electronic signature

We forward the counter-notice in full, including your contact details, to the person who sent the original notice. Unless that person tells us they have filed a court action, we may restore the material 10 to 14 business days after we receive the counter-notice.

Repeat Infringers

We track valid notices for each account and terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

Intimate Images Shared Without Consent

If content on the Service shows you, or a person you are authorized to act for, in an intimate image or video shared without consent, send a removal request that includes:

  • your physical or electronic signature
  • information that lets us find the content, such as the review link
  • a brief statement that you have a good faith belief the content was shared without consent, with any information that helps us confirm it
  • how we can contact you

Every request receives a request ID. Within 48 hours of receiving a valid request, we remove the content and any identical copies we know of, and we tell you the outcome, with the reason if we do not remove it.

Child Sexual Abuse Material

If you find content on the Service that you believe shows the sexual abuse or exploitation of a child, do not download, copy, or share it. Report it to us with the review link or other location. We disable access to it, preserve it as the law requires, and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).

You can also report directly to NCMEC's CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.
